Texas Senate passes bill requiring public school classrooms to display Ten Commandments - CNN

CHRISTIAN RESPONSE: We believe as Abraham Lincoln once said that, 'the philosophy of the schoolroom in one generation will be the philosophy of the government in the next'. Therefore, exposing our kids early to the Ten Commandments will engender a greater chance for souls to be saved! What a great move by the Texas Senate! If we never give ourselves to the pursuit of pleasing God by obeying these ten, we have no hope of passing other laws to govern the land with godliness.

Galatians 3:24 - "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith."

Philippians 3:9 - "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith."
