CHRISTIAN RESPONSE: We need to treat everyone as a special creation of God. We're made in His image and all have an eternal destiny. We're told as we get closer to the last day before we meet Jesus, that some people will be without natural affection and lawless. Be wise concerning your neighborhood and take appropriate safety measures. Wise, but harmless. Love people into understanding the love of Jesus for them.

II Timothy 3:1-4 - "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God."
