CHRISTIAN RESPONSE: As the world gets morally darker, there is more persecution for simply evangelizing the lost. The Word of God and the message of salvation thru Jesus and His blood on the cross is highly offensive the a prideful soul. We need to expect persecution...and evangelize anyway. We're proud of Josh Alexander for his courage and witness for Christ. We're grateful that he sees the value of the human souls that he's trying to lead to Jesus

Matthew 10:34-39 - "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."

Mark 16:15 - "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

Matthew 5:10-12 - "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."

Romans 1:16 - "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
