CHRISTIAN RESPONSE: We know and believe that the Word of God is perfect. It's not God's Word that needs to be adapted or changed but it is us that needs to be conformed into Jesus's image. We pray that Andy Stanley would repent and trust in every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, the Bible. We all need to study and cling to the proven Word of God that has withstood the test of time.

Psalm 19:7 - "The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple."

Matthew 7:15-16 - "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?"

II Peter 2:1-3 - "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction and many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of and through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."

Romans 12:2 - "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
